Makoto Tadokoro
He entered the kitchen knife industry at the age of 15 and established Tosa Kitchen Knife Workshop Tadokoro Hamono in 2010. He was trained under the top sharpeners in Sakai City, Osaka and launched his own brand “Marushin”. With a career spanning more than 25 years as a sharpener, his inherited skills are highly regarded in the industry both at home and abroad. The “sharpening” that most influences the finish of the knife is largely due to the skill of the craftsman, and you will be impressed by the outstanding sharpness.
